Shkolla e MagjistraturësWe have the pleasure to inform you that the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is organizing the 2023 WIPO Intellectual Property Judges Forum, which will be held in a hybrid format (in person at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and virtually on the Zoom platform) on Wednesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The annual Forum, a flagship event organized by the WIPO Judicial Institute, serves as a platform for the exchange of information and practices on issues of common concern in the adjudication of intellectual property disputes amongst national and regional judiciaries. In 2022, the fifth edition of the Forum brought together over 381 judges from 99 countries and three regional courts, with senior members of the judiciary from a number of these jurisdictions.
The program for the 2023 Forum is available on the WIPO website at http://www.wipo.int/judgesforum2023. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish.
We have the pleasure to invite members of the Albanian judiciary to participate in the Forum, and we are attaching an email invitation that may be used to transmit information on the Forum, including registration details, to interested judges in Albania.
With a view to encouraging open, judge-to-judge dialogue, participation in the Forum will be limited to members of the judiciary and members of quasi-judicial, administrative tribunals that are active in adjudicating intellectual property disputes. Participation in the Forum will be self-financed and participating judges will be responsible for the associated travel and accommodation costs.
