The School of Magistrates, in cooperation with the Council of Europe, on 28 March, 2025, had the training activity on topic: “The instant of the transfer of ownership in contracts that have for object the alienation of property (the determination of the instant of the transfer of ownership. The instant of the transfer of ownership in a sale contract, supply contract, donation contract, enterprise contract.)”

The purpose of this training is:
To provide consolidated knowledge on the instant of the transfer of property in contracts that have as object the alienation of property. The training is expected to analyze the legal criteria and judicial practices for every kind of contract, emphasizing the instant when property passes from one party to the other.
The training was realized by combining presentations (up to 20 - 30 min) with the discussion of issues brought for discussion (self-study questions, questions, answers) and case law exercises & quizzes to encourage and realize the active interaction of participants.
In this training activity were elaborated different topics, such as:
- The transfer of ownership in cases of contracts of enterprise, donation. Cases that are related to the execution of obligations, the imposing of measures of the safety of property, the imposing of sequestration, etc.
- The instant of the transfer of ownership depending on the type of the contract. Problems related to the non-accomplishment, resolution or invalidity of the contracts of supply, exchange, financial rent, enterprise, promise of sale, etc.
In this training activity participated judges and state advocates of the Republic of Albania.
