Training activity: “Gender perspective and discrimination. Damage reward in cases of discrimination.”

The School of Magistrates, on 18 December, 2024, has at the School of Magistrates, the training activity on topic:

“Gender perspective and discrimination. Damage reward in cases of discrimination.”

This activity is led by:

The purpose of this training is: 

Discussion and consolidation of knowledge regarding discrimination. Competence and decision – making of the Commissioner for the Protection from Discrimination. Damage reward as an independent requirement in the administration and civil judgment.  

The training will be realized by combining presentations (up to 20 - 30 min) with the discussion of issues brought for discussion (self-study questions, questions, answers) and case law exercises & quizzes to encourage and realize the active interaction of participants. 

In this training activity will be elaborated different topics, such as:  

• The assessment of the formal conditions of the lawsuit on administrative judgment. 
• Nature and effects of the decision of the non-acceptance of the lawsuit. Active and passive legitimating in trials for the opposition of the administration.
• Access to the court and the report with the institute of the lawsuits that cannot be done.  The evidencing of the approaches of the ECtHR, Constitutional Court, the Administrative College of the High Court, as well as Administrative Court of Appeal. 

In this training activity participate judges, prosecutors, officers of the judicial police, state advocates of the Republic of Albania.
