Training Activity on topic: “Integrity and Code of Judicial Ethics”

The School of Magistrates, on 28. 30 October and 4 November 2024, at the School of Magistrates, is doing the training activity on topic:

 “Integrity and Code of Judicial Ethics”

The purpose of this training is: 

Recognition, training and respect of the judge with and for: Integrity as the preservation of high ethical and moral standards in the exercise of the judicial duty. Integrity is essential to guarantee public trust to justice and to provide a fair and impartial process. It includes honesty, impartialness, and commitment to the truth and law, avoiding every kind of conflict of interest, illegal influence or pressure from outside.   

In this training activity will be elaborated different topics, such as:  

• Integrity and judicial dignity: What is integrity, dignity, honesty and human justice? What is integrity and judicial dignity? Some cases of the violation of integrity and dignity of a judge.
• Integrity as an essential principle of the function of the magistrate from the point of view of international standards, focused on Bangalore Principles.
• Bangalore principles and standards of ethics and rules of behavior of the judge and prosecutor in Albania. Their inclusion in the decision – making of disciplinary bodies KLGJ, KLP, KPA. ECtHR decisions.
