The School of Magistrates, organized today, on 9 October, 2024, at 10.00, a ceremony in the memory of life and contribution of Professor Halim Islami. In the activity took part friends and acquaintances of professor Islami, lecturers of the School of Magistrates, judges, prosecutors and candidates for magistrate.
The activity was welcomed by the Director of the School, Mr. Arben Rakipi, who appreciated the prominent and important role of professor Islami as one of the oldest contributors and collaborators of the School, by the Head of the High Court, Mr. Sokol Sadushi, by the Rector of the University of Tirana, Mr. Artan Hoxha, by the member of the High Court, Mr. Ilir Panda, by Mr.Spiro Peçi, the former- Minister of Justice and by the daughter of professor, Mrs. Dorina Bischof. All the speakers emphasized his irreplaceable role in the education of generations of candidates for magistrate, his figure in the role of the mentor for the professional growth of collaborators as well as values and contributions in the lecturing ground and in the ground of law in general.
The activity was concluded with the assessments given for professor Halimi from former-colleagues, collaborators, former students and other acquaintances of him.
