The School of Magistrates in cooperation with the Italian School of Magistrates, organized today the documentary film screening “Falcone e Borsellino – Il Fuoco della Memoria”, produced by the company Biondani TMGSPA. The documentary intended to honor the memory of the two great heroes, Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, in the war against crime and to encourage the reflection on the importance of the collective memory and the war against crime and mafia.
The activity was done with the participation of lecturers of the school as well as of candidates for magistrate of different years who attend studies at school. In the opening of the activity, those who were present were welcomed by the director of the School of Magistrates, Mr. Carmine Pirozzoli, who greeted the realization of the documentary as well as stressed the importance of the role of magistrate in the service of the society.
After the screening of the film, followed a short speech on the activity and life of two famous Italian magistrates, by Mr. Engert Pëllumbi as well as was realized a séance with questions, answers and discussion regarding topics reflected in the documentary “Il Fuoco della Memoria”.
