The School of Magistrates approved today important changes in the program of the formation of candidates for magistrate, state advocates, as well as legal advisors and assistants.

The new program is mostly oriented to practice, pays special attention not only to legal skills but also to non-legal skills, integrity and ethics. The new program approaches to the mentoring of candidates; to the preparation of acts step by step; to the cooperation, analysis, debate. Targeted skills and capacities are part of the daily routine of the profession. These changes address also recommendations of the European Commission for the School of Magistrates, as obligations deriving in the context of the process of integration in the EU.

At the end of the program of initial formation, candidates for judge, prosecutor, state advocate and legal assistant will be ready to serve to the system of justice.
