The School of Magistrates, on 7 May, 2024, notified publicly for the development of the process of unsecrecy on 8 May, 2024, at 17.00. On that day, in the spaces of the School and on its official website were published preliminarily the results of the test of the second phase, according to numbers of secrecy.
In the publication of results were present the majority of competitors. This process was done live, in the address notified by the School, so that everyone who was interested could see the procedure and the evaluation results. At the end of this process, School published a final list where are ranked competitors according to the points gained by them in the second phase of the admission test.
On the evaluation results
Out of 129 (one hundred and twenty nine) competitors who took part in the second phase of the admission test, 61 (sixty one) of them were evaluated with more than 60% (sixty percent) of possible maximal points for both days (four hundred points). So, 47% (forty seven per cent) of competitors passed the minimal limit established by the Regulation. Competitors ranked above, respectively 45 (forty five) first competitors, will continue the last phase of the competition, for the profile of judge and prosecutor. At the same time, 15 (fifteen) competitors ranked immediately after them up to the last competitor who has collected over 200 (two hundred) points in this test (50% (fifty per cent) of the total points of the second phase), depending on their interest, are going to compete for the position of legal assistant.
The evaluation results of the second phase of the admission test, compared to the results of former years, demonstrate a higher number of competitors who pass the limit of 60% (sixty per cent) of the total of evaluation and not a small number of them achieve to pass 70% (seventy per cent) of the total of evaluation (around 24% (twenty four percent) of competitors).
Important indicators are the results issued from the correction of case laws tested in the second day of the admission test. 83% (eighty three percent) of competitors have been evaluated with more than 60% (sixty percent) of the total evaluation for this evaluation component.
This initial elaboration of the above mentioned data is an indicator of the serious preparation of competitors who have participated in the competition and of the adaptability of the test in this phase. We bring into attention that the main purpose of changes done in January, 2024 regarding the test process, was the improvement of the methodology of the composition of the thesis of the test in the function of the evaluation of reasoning and analytical skills of candidates.
The third test – test of mental and psychological health
The test of mental and psychological health will be done according to the rules established in the Internal Regulation of the School of Magistrates and its progress is going to be part of another School notification.
