CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR THE ADMISSION TEST IN THE SCHOOL OF MAGISTRATES
All the interested ones who desire to compete in the School of Magistrates are notified that:
In the application of law no. 115/2016, on the organs of the management of the justice system, of law no. 96/2016, on the status of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania, of the Internal Regulation of the School of Magistrates, from February 1 to 29, 2024, will be accepted the applications for the admission test for the academic year 2024-2025, for 20 vacancies profile judge, 15 vacancies profile legal assistant notified by the High Judicial Council while waiting for the announcement of vacancies by the High Prosecutorial Council, for the profile prosecutor.
The application will be done through the electronic system in the platform under the link: smvshm.magjistratura.edu.al. Also, a copy of the documents that are necessary for application will be submitted to the secretary of the School of Magistrates.
Documents for application
In the personal registration file, the candidate should complete and download electronically on smvshm.magjistratura.edu.al, the following original documents or their notarized copies:
- The application request for the selected profile as judge, prosecutor, legal assistant. The application is completed electronically in the unique form of the SMVSHM platform (Annex 1 DOCX4749.31 KB );
- University diplomas and the lists of grades for the performed studies;
- Evidences/certifications of one of the official languages of the European Union: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish, on the basis of international tests, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Sports. If the individual has received a university diploma of a study program for justice, done in one of the countries of the European Union and in the education program of studies is evaluated even for the English language, the received diploma serves as an evidence for the accomplishment of this criterion;
- Life description;
- Identity card;
- Confirmation of the judicial status;
- Legal-medical report;
- Evidences, certifications and recommendations from persons or institutions of work during the three last years;
- Certificate from the last employer and/or disciplinary bodies that he/she has not resigned or his/her license, authorization or permit to practice a profession has been revoked for disciplinary reasons;
- Declaration which verifies of not being member of political parties in the time of candidacy;
- Declaration of not having been member, collaborator or favored from State Security before the year 1990; as well as of not having been collaborator, informer, or agent of secret services;
- Workbook that certifies the period of work experience, certifications issued from social security organs that certify contributions paid due to employment in years or, when is the case, the tax liabilities paid in years due to the elaboration of free legal professions;
- A photo;
- The pay registering fee in the sum of 12.000 lekë.

The submission of the notarized documents physically in the Sector of Initial Formation, at the School of Magistrates;
BE CAREFUL! Registration will be considered as performed in the moment when the candidate files a notarized copy of documents in the School secretary, after the uploading of the document on the SMVSHM.
Documents are delivered every day, from 1 to 29 February, 2024, at the School of Magistrates at 9.00-14.00.

DATES OF EXAMS
The admission test will be organized in two phases.
FIRST PHASE
22 April, 2024, at 8.00-13.00, Palace of Concerts, Tiranë.
SECOND PHASE
24 and 25 April, 2024, at 8.00-13.00, Salla “Feti Borova”, Tirana Olimpik Park, Tiranë.
Competitors, in all phases of the organization of the admission test, must have by themselves the identification document.
The program of the admission test (where you will find even the list of subjects that will be the basis of the test) is published on the website of the School: www.magjistratura.edu.al. The program of the test responds to both phases of the test: Test of Intelligence, Albanian Language, Psychology and Communication, EU’s legislation, International Relations, Comparative Law (General Principles), History, Professional Ethics, Constitutional Law, Civil and Commercial Law, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Administrative Law, Family Law, Labour Law.
