CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE POSITION OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE SCHOOL OF MAGISTRATES
In the conditions of the completion of the mandate of the Director of the School of Magistrates on 17 November 2018, based on the Article 250 of law no. 115/2016, on the organs of the management of the justice system, according to which, “The Director of the School of Magistrates is nominated by the Steering Council of the School, through an open competition and based on merit, on the basis of documents, for a 4-year mandate with the right of nomination, only once, ” The Steering Council of the School of Magistrates of the Republic of Albania declares the call for expression of interest for the position of the Director of the School of Magistrates.
All those who are interested to compete for the function of the Director of the School of Magistrates, who meet the conditions envisaged by law no.115/2016, on the organs of the management of the justice system, are notified that up to 9 November 2018, may express their interest through a written request in the School of Magistrates.
Candidates have to meet the following criteria:
a) To have been graduated into the High Judicial Education, Diploma of the Second Level;
b) To have worked as judge or prosecutor for no less than 10 years or as jurist for no less than 15 years;
c) To have no less than 10 years of lecture giving in the School of Magistrates from the time of the receiving of the scientific status “Doctor” or no less than 5 years of lecture giving in the School of Magistrates from the time of the receiving of the scientific title ‘Professor” or no less than 15 years of lecture giving as internal or external professor in the School of Magistrates;
ç) Not to have been reprimanded criminally on an in effect judicial sentence;
d) Not to have had political functions in the public administration or in directing positions in political parties during the last 10 years before candidating.
The interested persons have to attach to the written request, the following documents:
a) An updated curriculum vitae;
b) A personal platform of the aims and objectives they propose to follow if they are elected;
c) Every other document that verifies the meeting of legal criteria, envisaged in the Article 249 of law no. 115/2016, on the organs of the management of the justice system.
The call is published on the official website of the School of Magistrates.
