Seminar: Methodology and principles for the drafting of the admission test for judges, prosecutors and legal advisors/assistants based on the best EU principles and models

Seminar: Methodology and principles for the drafting of the admission test for judges, prosecutors and legal advisors/assistants based on the best EU principles and models and on models of the judicial academy throughout Europe.

In the context of the cooperation of the School of Magistrates with the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, on 1 – 2 March 2023, is under realization a two – day seminar, with EU experts, in the support of the revision process of theses of the admission test.  

The purpose of this seminar is as follows: 

• To discuss the existing forms of the admission test; (and)   
• To consider the possibility of the change of its elements intending: 

1. A better focus on reasoning and capacities; (and)   
2. The providing of a fair balance of recruiting more candidates who possess proper professional qualities and capacities to become future judges and prosecutors. 

Considering the great European experience of judicial education in this ground, this seminar intends to: 

• Enable an open and dynamic discussion between experts and lecturers of the School of Magistrates, intending the exchange and reflection of the best experiences in this process.
